
Terms & Conditions of service:
Our promise to you:
We will endeavour to keep you informed at all stages of the wedding plan, and to be available for communication as much as possible at all times. In the unlikely event that any major changes need to be made to your big day, we will contact you with alternative options where possible.
You will receive, to the best of our ability the best goods and services available locally. You will receive reminders from us 1week before payments need to be made and again 1 week before your arrival which will include a check list of items such as documentation and driving licences etc. We will of course oversee all the events on the day, and will be on hand whenever necessary.
Our Fee:
Is based on the level of service required but is normally 15% of the total cost of the event and all goods and services supplied, with a minimum charge of 1000€. plus expenses
Your Order:
To secure our services we will require a small deposit of 200€ which is deductable from the payment of 20% due on acceptance of our quotation (see below)
After our estimate has been accepted in principle by you, we will ask you for confirmation of your requirements in writing (by email is acceptable). At this stage we will obtain the price and availability of all of the goods and services required. We will send you a firm quotation listing out any changes made to the original estimate. You will then be asked to confirm your requirements within 30 days of receipt of the quotation. On confirmation you will be required to pay a deposit of 20% of the order, this is to allow us to pay deposits and booking fees etc on your behalf.
At all stages you will be kept informed of all bookings made and deposits paid on your behalf. A further payment of 50% will be required at 3 months before the wedding date.
The final balance will be payable at 30 days before the wedding.
Any additions made to the order, after confirmation of the quotation will only be accepted in writing (or email) and will be subject to availability and additional cost.
Cancellations: In the event that you need to cancel your order, any refunds will be subject to the stage of the wedding planning and the agreement of all third party providers. We cannot be held liable for any deposits not being returned by outside companies.
Flights and travel:
We will of course help wherever we can with all your travel arrangements, but suggest that booking your flights direct with the airline will be the cheapest option. Do not forget to tell us your flight details or meeting you at the airport cannot happen.
If you have taken this option we will collect you from the airport and transfer to your accommodation. where a car has been hired for the duration of your stay, you will leave the car in the airport car park, or as otherwise agreed with the hire company. For other members of your party we can upon request arrange their transfer to and from the airport/accommodation.
Car hire: You will receive a car consumerate with your requirements and at the pre-agreed price, although the make and model of car may vary subject to availability. Car insurance is included, without excess, and you only pay for the petrol you use. We will use a number of different privately owned hire companies as availability dictates.
coach, minibus and taxi hire are all available from a number of companies that we will be happy to book on your behalf.
Accommodation:
Villa/apartment hire: We have contact with several property owners who offer their villa/apartment for holiday let, we are happy to supply any property details and photographs available, for your consideration. Should you wish to book accomodation, we will pass your contact details to the owner or owners agent, who will contact you with regard to dates and cost etc. Letting terms and conditions are the responsibility of the property owner or his agent. weddingsinmenorca.com cannot be held liable, for any errors or ommisions made by any third party. In the event of any problems with your accomodation we will however where necessary try to help resolve any problems or find an alternative from the limited number of properties available to us. This is obviously subject to what is available at the time.
Hotels: We will advise you of some of the available hotels and will supply all relevant information to you on request, all bookings must be made by you with your choice of hotel. we are of course available to help if needed. Terms and conditions are subject to the terms and conditions of individual hotels.
Wedding cakes:
Wedding cakes are made to order,by us and as close as possible to your design specification, although some 'artistic licence' should be expected. A deposit of 20% of the agreed price will be payable, and confirmation in writing will be required. a further deposit of 50% will be required 3 months prior to the wedding date, with the final balance being payable 30 days prior to the date.
